Rio Tinto PLC01 December 2006 ERA chief executive The Board of Directors of Energy Resources of Australia Ltd is pleased toannounce that the General Manager Operations - Chris Salisbury will assume therole of Chief Executive of the company on 1 February 2007. He replaces HarryKenyon-Slaney who has led the company for the past three years during a periodof major change in the uranium industry and who is returning to Rio Tinto. This change in leadership, which is the culmination of an orderly successionplan, will take effect following the ERA Board meeting on 31 January at whichHarry Kenyon-Slaney will resign as a director and Chris Salisbury will beappointed.
