Under the contract, SNC-Lavalin will develop adetailed project design documentation by the end of 2017. NMP Sulphur Project is a major environmental initiative forming an inherentpart of the Company's downstream modernization program. The project targetsa drastic reduction of sulphur dioxide emissions through implementation ofthe most efficient technical solutions. NMP Sulphur Project represents the second phase of the Company's largescale environmental program with an ultimate goal to reduce air emissionsat Polar Division by 75%. The first phase included downstreamreconfiguration and asset modernization, as part of which Nickel Plant wassuccessfully phased out in August 2016 and modernized Talnakh Concentratorhas been commissioned.
