Environmental Baseline Studies Revalidation

Sirius Petroleum (AIM: SRSP), the investing company focused on oil and gas exploration and development opportunities in Nigeria, is pleased to announce that Guarantee Petroleum, its partner in the Ororo Field, has confirmed it has received the Environmental Baseline Studies ("EBS") revalidation from the Department of Petroleum Resources ("DPR").

Background

The Company had submitted an EBS to the DPR on the 27th September 2017 as part of the prerequisites for the Ororo drilling campaign. Following review of the report, the DPR has approved the EBS for the Ororo Marginal Field ("Licence") which covers the drilling of three additional wells to appraise the field as part of the eventual development activities.

Sirius and its partners will maintain the required environmental management plan and environmental audits in accordance with DPR regulations.
