The Award is given for research that has made a significant contribution toresolving environmental problems. The judges explained that Molectra'stechnology demonstrated global sustainability by removing used tyre waste fromthe environment and creates valuable, useful and environmentally beneficialproducts from all components of the tyre, thus extending the lifecycle of thematerials beyond tyres. Greenhouse Vice-Chairman Brian Sheeran commented, "We are delighted that Molectra has received yet another award in recognition ofits environmental technology.
