Enova Systems Announces Delivery of Hybrid Bus to

Denali National Park

Further Indication of Commercial Hybrid Bus Market Penetration

TORRANCE, CA, July 29, 2008 - Enova Systems, (AMEX: ENA and AIM: ENV and ENVS), a production company in an emerging industry and a leading developer of proprietary electric, hybrid and fuel cell digital power management systems, announces the delivery of a plug-in hybrid bus to Denali National Park for use in transporting visitors in this pristine ecological environment. The IC Bus includes Enova's unique post-transmission parallel hybrid drive technology. Enova is the exclusive supplier of hybrid electric drive systems to IC Bus, an affiliated division of Navistar.

The hybrid bus will be operated by Aramark, the transportation provider to Denali National Park and other national parks throughout the U.S. Aramark, a $10.6 billion company based in Philadelphia, PA., operates more than one hundred (100) transit buses at Denali, and has announced its intention to apply hybrid drive technology in a large portion of this fleet.

James Badalamenti, Enova's Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, noted that, "We are pleased that Enova's unique hybrid drive system is being recognized as a leading hybrid technology in both the School and Commercial bus markets. The utilization of our product in environments such as National Parks further demonstrates the diverse opportunities for our drive system. I look forward to further market adoption in all bus markets with our partner, IC Bus

Delivery of the hybrid IC commercial bus to Denali is part of the continued worldwide sales growth of Enova's drive system technology for commercial and transit buses. Enova's series hybrid drive technology is now powering ten FAW transit buses carrying visitors in Beijing during the 2008 Olympic games. Enova has also provided hybrid drive systems for school, commercial and public transit buses in England, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Canada and throughout the U.S.

The Enova post-transmission hybrid drive technology couples a diesel engine with an 80-kilowatt power-train that incorporates a control unit, batteries and an electric motor. Standard diesel commercial and school buses emit harmful carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide and particulates. Hybrid IC Buses are cleaner than standard diesel buses because they reduce carbon dioxide emissions by as much as 40 percent, nitrogen oxide by up to 20 percent and particulate matter by as much as 30 percent, according to results from recent independent third-party dynamometer testing.

With diesel fuel prices exceeding $5 per gallon in Alaska and other parts of North America, the Enova hybrid drive solution can return significant savings over the operating life of a bus or commercial truck. In recent third-party dynamometer testing, the hybrid IC bus with the Enova drive system demonstrated that it can reduce fuel consumption by up to 70 percent.
