Engine Service Agreement

easyJet PLC29 June 2007 Friday, 29th June 2007 easyJet signs exclusive OnPoint engine service agreement with GE Aviation easyJet, Europe's leading low-fares airline, has signed a 10-year OnPointSolutions services agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance and overhaulof the CFM56-5B* and CFM56-7B* engines powering the airline's rapidly growingfleet of 105 Airbus A319 and 30 Boeing 737-700 aircraft, respectively. Theagreement, which could cover as many as 340 shop visits, is valued at around $1billion. "This service agreement with easyJet demonstrates the confidence that theairline has in our OnPoint Solutions service offerings," said Jack Lutze,Regional Sales General Manager at GE Aviation. "We are very excited to work witheasyJet to ensure their engines are well maintained to meet the needs of theirflying customers." easyJet continues to experience strong growth in Europe. In the 12 months to 31May 2007, the airline has carried 35 million passengers and today offerscustomers a choice of 298 routes to 75 destinations in in 22 countries. In thecourse of the past three-and-a-half years, on average easyJet has taken deliveryof one new Airbus A319 every 12 days.
