Press Release

Energetix Group plc

("Energetix" or "the Group")

Energetix Pnu Power Ltd - Announces US Patent Grant

Energetix Group plc (AIM:EGX), a group of companies with three cost-effective products (Pnu Power, Genlec and VPhase) to meet the growing demand for alternative energy, is pleased to announce that a patent has been granted for its subsidiary Energetix Pnu Power Limited ("Pnu Power" or the Company") by the United States Patent and Trade Mark Office for its Pnu Power Electrical Power System.

The patent titled 'Electrical power Supply System' covers the core uninterruptible power supply ("UPS") technology which supports Pnu Power's UPS Product platform. It is valid until December 2023 and follows the granting of the European patent in 2006 and the Chinese patent in 2008.

Pnu Power produces ultra-reliable back-up power solutions, using compressed air, for utility switching, telecommunications, data centres and other mission critical industrial operations. The Pnu Power system outperforms conventional back-up power solutions in terms of reliability and safety, particularly in harsh environments such as those with high temperatures or humidity.

The American market represents a particularly strong opportunity for Pnu Power, following successful order wins with National Grid US, Harris Corporation and P&E Automation.

Energetix is building on its solid technology platform with a robust portfolio of intellectual property including key patents, trademarks and know-how to enable exploitation across its global markets.

Adrian Hutchings CEO of Energetix Group, commented: "Whilst we have already made significant progress with Pnu Power in the US market, as demonstrated by orders from the likes of National Grid US, Harris Corporation and P&E Automation, the granting of a US patent will strengthen that existing bridgehead to North America and beyond. Watertight IP protection is a primary objective across all three of the Energetix Group's businesses, enabling us and our shareholders to invest confidently in further product development and rapid global roll-out."

About Energetix Group plc

Energetix Group plc has three businesses with cost-effective products to meet the growing global demand for alternative energy. With a focus on distributed generation, energy storage and energy efficiency, the Energetix businesses are:

·; Energetix (Pnu) Power Limited - compressed-air back-up power;

·; Energetix Genlec Limited - distributed generation in the home; and

·; VPhase plc - domestic energy efficiency.

Energetix's strategy is to create products based on robust engineering principles, regularly utilising existing mass-produced components configured in a novel and patentable way. Avoiding cutting-edge science has enabled the Group's businesses to de-risk the new product development process which in turn reduces development time and costs. This has enabled the businesses to have a lower-than-normal technology risk while still producing strong intellectual property. In addition, this facilitates the outsourcing of production and assembly, significantly reducing the Group's investment in capital equipment. The body of know-how developed within the Group has also enabled our businesses to modify the design of existing mass-produced components to reduce costs, improve efficiency and strengthen the Group's intellectual property position.

Energetix Group joined AIM in August 2006. The Group and its subsidiaries are all based near Chester, NW England.
