Further to the announcement dated 4 June 2010, the Board of Cadogan Petroleum plc (the "Company") has been notified that the proposal contemplating a partial offer for the Company's shares has been withdrawn by the potential offeror.
As a result, the Company confirms it is no longer in an offer period for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
