SKY ANNOUNCES PUBLICATION OF UPDATED BASE PROSPECTUS
British Sky Broadcasting Group plc ("BSkyB") announced today that an updated base prospectus (the "Base Prospectus") relating to its £1,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme (the "Programme") has been approved by the UK Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and will shortly be available for viewing on the website of the National Storage Mechanism operated by the UKLA.

The Programme includes Barclays acting as Arranger, and each of Bank of China Limited, Barclays, BNP Paribas, BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan Cazenove, Lloyds Bank, Morgan Stanley, Santander Global Banking & Markets, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking and The Royal Bank of Scotland as Dealers.
The programme provides BSkyB with a standardised documentation platform to allow for any future senior debt issuance in the Eurobond markets. There are no immediate plans for issuance under the programme.
