Dixons Retail plc's Employee Share Trust purchased on 28 February 2013 912,179 shares at an average acquisition cost per share of 27.216p.

These shares will be used to meet the valid exercise or vesting of options or awards over Shares granted under the terms of the Company's share plans.

Following this transaction, the Trust holds a total of 1,781,253 shares.

Each of the executive directors of the Company is a potential beneficiary under the Trust and is therefore regarded as having a notional interest in the Trust's current holding.
