W.H. Ireland Group PLC17 April 2008 WH Ireland Group plc ("WH Ireland" or the "Company") Employee Share Offer WH Ireland announces that it has today dispatched a letter to all employees ofthe Company inviting them to participate in an offer of up to 300,000 ordinaryshares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 100p pershare (the "Employee Offer"). At the same time, WH Ireland also dispatched a letter to all of its selfemployed members of staff inviting them to participate in a further offer of upto 300,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100p per share (the "Staff Offer"). The total number of shares in the Company made available for both the EmployeeShare Offer and the Staff Offer is therefore up to 600,000 Ordinary Shares. The Employee Offer is only being made to the Company's employees (other thanemployees in overseas subsidiaries) and the Staff Offer is only being made tothe Company's self employed members of staff (all of whom are authorised by theFSA). Both offers are conditional on, inter alia, completion of all aspects ofthe transaction with the consortium of investors as summarised in theannouncement by the Company dated 1 April 2008.
