Employee Benefit Trust

The Restaurant Group plc has been advised by the trustees of The Restaurant Group Employee Benefit Trust (the potential beneficiaries of the trust being certain employees of The Restaurant Group plc including directors and PDMRs of the Company) that on 29 May 2012, the Trust acquired 1,000,000 shares at a price of 283.5p each.

The Employee Benefit Trust now has a beneficial interest in 3,147,953 ordinary shares representing 1.57% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
