Employee Benefit Trust Dealings

Hydrogen Group plc ("Hydrogen" or the "Company") announces that it was notified on 4 January 2010 that on  that day, the Hydrogen Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust")  purchased  7,048  ordinary  shares of 1 pence each ("Shares") at a price of 83.8 pence per Share.

Following this transaction the Trust now holds 718,169 Shares, representing 3.06% of the Company's issued share capital. 

The Directors of the Company are potential beneficiaries of Shares held in the Trust.
