Employee Benefit Trust Dealings

Filtrona plc (the "Company") announces that it was notified that the Filtrona plc Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust") had purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each ("Shares"), on 29 November 2010, at a price of 237.12 pence per Share.

The purchases were made in order to cover obligations of the Trust under the Company's employee share schemes.

Following these transactions the Trust now holds 457,902 shares, representing 0.22% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding own shares held in Treasury) and voting rights.

The Executive Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities of the Company are potential beneficiaries of Shares held in the Trust.
