Beazley Group PLC13 December 2006 13th December 2006 Beazley Group plc Purchase of shares by the Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust The board of Beazley Group plc announces that Beazley Group plc Employee BenefitTrust acquired 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company (0.6% of theissued share capital) at a cost of 127.0p per share on 11th December 2006. Theseshares will be used to fulfil an award that has been made under the RetentionPlan. The Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust now owns 5,070,511 ordinary sharesof 5p each (1.4% of the issued share capital).
