Beazley Group PLC12 October 2007 12th October 2007 Beazley Group plc Purchase of shares by the Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust The board of Beazley Group plc announces that Beazley Group plc Employee BenefitTrust acquired 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company (0.6% of theissued share capital) at a cost of 178p per share on 10th October 2007. Theseshares will be used to fulfil an award that has been made under the RetentionPlan. The Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust now owns 8,479,485 ordinary sharesof 5p each (2.3% of the issued share capital).
