EGM - Approval of Name Change

Golden Prospect PLC13 November 2006 GOLDEN PROSPECT PLC ("Golden Prospect" or "the Company") Result of EGM - Shareholders approve change of name to Ambrian Capital plc Golden Prospect announces that, effective immediately, the Company's name haschanged to Ambrian Capital plc, further to approval given by shareholders at anExtraordinary General Meeting held today at 11:00am. The Company's common shares will commence trading under its new name on AIM inLondon on Tuesday 14th November 2006 under the new symbol "AMBR". The newcorporate website can be found at www.ambrian.com. Malcolm Burne, Chairman of the Company, comments, "It is the belief of the Boardthat the name Ambrian Capital serves to better reflect the broadening of theGroup's activities, marking the transformation of the business from itstraditional beginnings on AIM as a resources investment house into what hasbecome a fully fledged investment bank with diversified sector coverage.
