 EBT Share Purchase & Total Voting Rights

The Company has been notified by the trustee of the Volex Group PLC Employees' Share Trust (the "EBT") that between Friday 16 November and Tuesday 20 November, the EBT purchased 500,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 89.7256p per share.

These Ordinary Shares are to be held in the EBT and are intended to be used to satisfy the exercise of share options by employees. The EBT is a discretionary trust for the benefit of the Company's employees, including the Directors of the Company. Following these transactions, a total of 1,659,277 Ordinary Shares are held by the Company's EBT, representing approximately 1.14 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

The Company's total issued share capital consists of 145,243,917 ordinary shares of 25 pence each with one voting right per share.
