E1 wins two BAFTA awards 

Entertainment One Ltd. ("E1" or the "Company"), a leading international independent entertainment content owner and distributor, is pleased to announce that at the Children's BAFTA awards held on the 29th November 2009, the Company's Kids TV business won awards in two categories: Best Animation for its title Lost and Found and Best Pre-School Animation for its title Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom. The business dominated the Pre-School Animation category, with its titles Peppa Pig and Humf also nominated.

E1 Television is the largest independent television production company in Canada and its UK-based Kids business has enjoyed significant success in co-production, distribution and merchandising and licensing activities. E1 Television productions have sold to over 500 broadcasters in 150 countries.

E1's latest UK film release Nativity also opened on Friday 27th November, performing strongly and placing 6th at the UK box office over the weekendThe Company's UK and Canadian release The Twilight Saga: New Moon remained at number one for the second consecutive weekend.
