E1 announces high profile presence at 2009 Toronto International Film Festival
Entertainment One Ltd. ("E1" or the "Company") today announces that at this year's Toronto International Film Festival ("TIFF"), the Company has distribution rights to 31 separate titles. The lineup includes several high profile films including: Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, starring Heath Ledger (in his final role), Jonny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law; The Men Who Stare at Goats, featuring George Clooney and Kevin Spacey; The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, featuring Brad Pitt; and Chloe, starring Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore. TIFF opened yesterday and runs through to September 19th.
"E1's footprint at TIFF demonstrates the level of demand for a large independent multi-territory distribution partner that can help content owners and producers market their films around the world," said Patrice Theroux, Executive Director and president of E1's Filmed Entertainment division.
