Braemar Seascope Group PLC02 August 2006 BRAEMAR SEASCOPE GROUP plc ____________________________________________________________________ PRESS RELEASE For immediate release 2 August 2006 Braemar Seascope Group plc DV Howells wins MoD contract DV Howells Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Braemar Seascope Group PLC, haswon a contract to provide an Emergency Pollution Response Service to incidentsinvolving Ministry of Defense (MoD) units and establishments, and United StatesVisiting Forces (USVF). The service provides 24/7, 365 days a year response to any oil and chemicalincidents involving MoD and USVF facilities and activities anywhere in the UKand Northern Ireland, UK Coastal waters and worldwide in International waters. The global service is for HM Warships, Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) and other MoDoperated vessels. The contract is for an initial three year period and is extendable to five yearsat the option of the MoD. The value of the contract is determined principally bythe number and extent of the various incidents and therefore cannot bequantified accurately. The business of DV Howells was acquired by Braemar Seascope in March 2006. Commenting on the new contract, Braemar Seascope's Chief Executive, Alan Marsh,said, "We are delighted that DV Howells has won this prestigious contract so soonafter joining the Braemar Seascope group.
