Debenhams plc27 June 2007 Dublin Store Debenhams is pleased to announce that following on from the Roches acquisitionin September 2006 it has agreed terms to assign the lease on its Dublin basedJervis Street store to Arnotts. Debenhams will continue to trade in Dublin citycentre from the 140,000sq ft major flagship store on Henry Street. It is expected that the transaction will be earnings enhancing for Debenhamsimmediately from completion and will result in an exceptional non-cash assetwrite down of Jervis Street fixtures and leasehold improvements along with somerestructuring costs. In aggregate these are expected to total approximately £13mand will be accounted for in the current year.
