Sound Oil PLC21 May 2007 Sound Oil plc Pasundan-1 resumes drilling Sound Oil plc is pleased to announce that operations on the Pasundan-1exploration well have resumed following repairs to the drilling rig. Repairswere completed ahead of schedule and as of this morning's report (0600Indonesian Western Time, 0000 BST, 21 May 2007) the drill-string was being runin the hole prior to drilling ahead. Sound Oil plc is a 20% shareholder (through its wholly owned subsidiary MitraEnergia Citarum Limited) in the BPREC operating company that is drilling thePasundan-1 exploration well, located approximately 50 km southeast of Jakarta,Java, Indonesia.
