Roc Oil Company Limited10 April 2007 10 April 2007 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE DRILLING ACTIVITY UPDATE: OFFSHORE PERTH BASIN EXPLORATION DRILLING PROGRAMME Roc Oil (WA) Pty Limited advises that as of 2200 hours on 6 April 2007Australian Western Standard Time ("AWST") the "Premium Wilcraft" jack-updrilling rig commenced drilling the Frankland-1 exploration well in WA-286-P inthe Perth Basin about 25 kilometres north of the Cliff Head Oil Field, offshoreWestern Australia. As at 0600 hrs on 10 April 2007 AWST surface casing had been set at 113.5 metresand the current operation was drilling ahead at 850 metres. Frankland-1, the first of a planned three well exploration drilling programme inthe region, is scheduled to reach a Total Depth of 2,210 metres by next week.
