Drilling Update
Uranium Resources plc, the AIM listed uranium exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that hole 2 of phase 1 of its drilling programme at the Mtonya Prospect in Tanzania has been completed. The rig has commenced drilling hole 3 which will be the final hole of phase 1.
On 14 June, the Company announced that it expected phase 1 to be completed between late July and early August 2010. After reviewing its current drilling rate, which has been slower than anticipated, the Company has revised the expected phase 1 completion date. The Company now expects to complete phase 1, including the receipt and analysis of assays, between late September and early October. The Company will provide a further update on completion.
