Premier Oil PLC01 August 2006 PREMIER OIL PLC ("Premier" or "the Company") Drilling update - Colin Mauritania The Colin-1 exploration well in PSC A has been drilled to a total depth of 2,322meters without encountering significant hydrocarbons. Wireline logging wasongoing at 24:00 on 31st July 2006, after which the well will be plugged andabandoned. Premier holds a 4.63% share in PSC A.
