Minera IRL Limited30 April 2007 Minera IRL Limited Press Release Minera IRL Limited reports positive drilling results from the Jaguelito Silver-Gold Project, Argentina LONDON: 30 April 2007 - Minera IRL Limited (MIRL or The Company), the emergingprecious metals mining company, with assets in Peru, Argentina and Chile, ispleased to announce the results of a recently completed diamond drilling programat its high sulphidation epithermal silver gold Jaguelito Project in Argentina. The project is located in the mining friendly province of San Juan which is alsohome to Barrick's Veladero Mine and Pascua Lama Project. The diamond drilling program comprised 52 drill holes for a total of 5,762 mtargeting two principle mineralized zones, Capote (42 holes) and Alcatraz (10holes). In addition some 493m of surface trench sampling was completed. Thisprogram supplements 23,000m of drilling by the previous explorer, IndustriasPenoles. The objectives of the MIRL program were to provide verificationinformation on the Penoles database, to conduct in-fill drilling to lift thecategorization of the existing Inferred resource to Measured and Indicated, andto better define the limits of the deposit. The results will be incorporatedinto a pre-feasibility study which is currently underway and scheduled forcompletion in the third quarter of 2007. Highlights of the drilling and trenching program include: • At Capote, Hole DDH07 Jag 104A intersected 70m grading 0.77g/t Au and 309.9 g/t Ag. • Also at Capote, Hole DDH07 Jag 111 intersected 64 m graded 0.96 g/t Au and 125.9 g/t Ag; • At Alcatraz, Hole DDH07 Jag 137 intersected 116 m grading 4.07 g/t Au and 52.0 g/t Ag; and • Trench 8 over an interval of 60 m grading 2.09 g/t Au and 19.1 g/t Ag Minera IRL Limited Vice President, Exploration, Donald McIver commented "Thesepositive results, obtained from within oxidized material which extendsvertically to more than 150 metres below surface, serve to confirm the potentialfor an open pittable mining operation. The new geological understanding whichMIRL has developed will serve to optimize this mineralized zone and assist inour exploration of this highly prospective 11,700 hectare concession."
