Desire Petroleum PLC11 April 2005 Desire Petroleum plc ("Desire" or "the Company") Appointment of Drilling Project Manager Desire is pleased to announce the appointment of Peak Well Management ("Peak")to carry out the well design and drilling project management of the planned3-well drilling programme in the Falkland Islands. This will involve detailedwell and test design, contracting for all services, and execution of thedrilling programme, including materials and logistics. Peak, based in Aberdeen, have the expertise and worldwide experience to deliverthis operation in a safe and cost-effective manner. Dr Colin Phipps, Desire Chairman , Dr Ian Duncan, Desire CEO and Mr Bob Lyons,Peak Managing Director are visiting the Falkland Islands this week to discussplans for the drilling campaign with the Falkland Islands Government and keylocal residents.
