DQ Entertainment and Method Animation partner to co-produce 52x11' CGI TV series "5 & IT"

DQ Entertainment plc, a global entertainment production and distribution company focused on children's and family animation content, announces that it has entered into an agreement with Method Animation to produce the CGI TV series '5 & IT', a modern adaption of the well-known book,"5 Children & It", by Edith Nesbit.

This project is being co-produced with Disney Channel Germany and supported by Noga, Israel. Disney Channel France has pre-acquired the show. This TV series has received interest from broadcasters and licensing agents globally, and it will be available for broadcast by mid-2017.

The series follows the adventures and escapades of five children after they befriend a sand fairy at their uncle's beachfront mansion. The sand fairy, Psammead, offers to grant them one wish each day, but each wish they are granted brings unwanted consequences, the effects of which cannot be reversed until sunset.
