On April 26, 2013, the BOD of Samsung Electronics approved donations to the following foundations and educational organizations.

a) KRW 5.1 billion to Chung-nam Samsung Institute

b) KRW 35 billion to Samsung Foundation of Culture

c) KRW 29 billion to Samsung Welfare Foundation

d) KRW 5.4 billion to Samsung Life Public Welfare Foundation

e) KRW 5 billion to Ho-Am Foundation

f) KRW 12.5 billion to Sungkyunkwan University

As a responsible corporate citizen, Samsung Electronics seek to participate in addressing the problems we are facing today through corporate contributions and corporate social responsibility programs.

※Note: Pursuant to the Fair Trade Act, a donator is required to disclose the transaction

if the amount of donation exceeds KRW5 billion and the receiving party is

a financial affiliate of the donator.
