On July 26, 2013, the BOD of Samsung Electronics approved donations to the following foundations and educational organizations.

a) KRW 5.0 billion to Samsung Life Public Welfare Foundation

As a responsible corporate citizen, Samsung Electronics seek to participate in addressing the problems we are facing today through corporate contributions and corporate social responsibility programs.

※Note: Pursuant to the Fair Trade Act, a donator is required to disclose the transaction

if the amount of donation exceeds KRW5 billion and the receiving party is

a financial affiliate of the donator.
