On March 11, 2016, the board of directors of Samsung Electronics approved donations to the following foundations and educational organizations.

1. KRW 27.0 billion to Samsung Foundation of Culture

2. KRW 18.0 billion to Samsung Welfare Foundation

3. KRW 95.3 billion to Samsung Life Public Welfare Foundation

4. KRW 23.0 billion to Sungkyunkwan University

As a responsible corporate citizen, Samsung Electronics seek to participate in addressing the problems faced by communities and enrich the lives of its members through corporate contributions and corporate social responsibility programs.

※ Note: Pursuant to the Korean Fair Trade Act, a donor is required to disclose contributions to charitable organizations if the amount of the donation exceeds KRW 5 billion and the recipient is an affiliated entity of the donor.
