3i Group plc: Special business passed at 2011 AGM

3i Group plc (the "Company") announces that all the resolutions contained in the Notice of AGM dated 11 May 2011 were passed at the Company's Annual General Meeting held today, 6 July 2011. These included resolutions 13 to 19, inclusive, which constituted special business.

A copy of the full text of the resolutions constituting special business has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.Hemscott.com/nsm.do.
