Telefonica SA12 April 2006 Telefonica, S.A. has filed with the Spanish National Securities MarketCommission (Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores- CNMV) the IndividualAnnual Accounts of "Telefonica, S.A." and the Consolidated Annual Accounts of "Telefonica S.A." and its "Group of Subsidiaries" for 2005 financial year. The aforesaid Annual Accounts will be submitted for approval of the next AnnualGeneral Shareholders' Meeting of the Company, that is tentatively scheduled forJune 20th, at first call, or on the day after, that is, June 21st, 2006, atsecond call.
