INTERIM ORDINARY AND SPECIAL DIVIDEND TIMETABLE

POSTING OF HALF YEAR REPORT TO SHAREHOLDERS
Following the announcement on 5 August of its Half Year Results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2008, Drax Group plc now confirms:
the key dates regarding the interim ordinary and special dividends; and
details of the posting of the Half Year Report and the lodging of that document with the Financial Services Authority.
Interim ordinary and special dividends
Detailed below are the key dates regarding the interim ordinary and special dividends:
17 September 2008 - ordinary shares marked ex-interim ordinary dividend and ex-special dividend
19 September 2008 - record date for entitlement to the interim ordinary and special dividends
8 October 2008 - payment of the interim ordinary and special dividends
The rate of the interim ordinary dividend is 5.0 pence per share and the rate of the interim special dividend is 9.7 pence per share.
Half Year Report
The Half Year Report is being posted to registered shareholders today, Friday 15 August 2008.
Copies of the Half Year Report have also been submitted to the UK Listing Authority today, Friday 15 August 2008, and will be available for inspection shortly at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
