Dividend rates

Henderson Group plc wishes to confirm that shareholders on the register at 5.00pm today, the Record Date, will be entitled to an interim dividend in respect of the period ended 30 June 2009 of 1.85 pence per ordinary share.
For holders of CHESS Depositary Interests (CDIs), the A$ or the NZ$ equivalent will be 3.602533 cents* (Australia) and 4.401529 cents* (New Zealand) per CDI respectively.
The dividend will be paid on 25 September 2009.
