DIVIDEND DETAILS

HAMILTON, Bermuda - The Board of Directors of Catlin Group Limited has declared a final dividend of 16.8 pence (26.2 US cents) per share in respect of the year ended 31 December 2009, which will be paid on 26 March 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business on 26 February 2010. When added to the declared interim dividend of 8.2 pence (13.8 US cents) paid on 25 September 2009, this will make a total dividend for the year of 25.0 pence (40.0 US cents).

The final dividend is payable in sterling (based on the exchange rate of £1 = US$1.56 prevailing on 10 February 2010) except for shareholders who have elected as at

10 February 2010 to receive their dividends in US dollars.
