Old Mutual PLC20 April 2007 Old Mutual plc Ref 22/07 20 April 2007 Final Dividend for the year ended 31 December 2006 (No. 15) Currency Conversions In the preliminary announcement by Old Mutual plc (the "Company") of its resultsfor the year ended 31 December 2006 published on 26 February 2007, the Companyannounced a recommended final dividend of 4.15p per share or its equivalent inother currencies of payment using the exchange rates prevailing on 19 April2007. The Company also announced that shareholders on the South African,Zimbabwe and Malawi branch registers and the Namibian section of the principalregister would be paid the local currency equivalents of the dividend underdividend access trust arrangements established in each country and thoseshareholders who held their shares through VPC AB, the Swedish nominee, would bepaid the equivalent of the dividend in Swedish kronor. The local currency equivalents of the proposed dividend have now beenestablished and are as follows: South Africa 58.26 South African cents per share Malawi 11.47 Malawi kwachas per share Namibia 58.26 Namibian cents per share Zimbabwe 20.77 Zimbabwean dollars per share* Sweden 0.562 Swedish kronor per share Subject to being approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 24May 2007, the final dividend will be paid on 31 May 2007. The record date for this dividend payment is the close of business on Friday, 11May 2007 for all the Exchanges where the Company's shares are listed. The lastday to trade cum-dividend on the JSE and on the Namibian, Zimbabwe and MalawiStock Exchanges will be Friday, 4 May 2007 and Tuesday, 8 May 2007 for theLondon and Stockholm Stock Exchanges. The shares will trade ex-dividend fromthe opening of business on Monday, 7 May 2007 on the JSE and on the Namibian,Zimbabwe and Malawi Stock Exchanges and from the opening of business onWednesday, 9 May 2007 on the London and Stockholm Stock Exchanges. Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised on the SouthAfrican branch register between 7 and 11 May 2007, both dates inclusive, andtransfers between the registers may not take place during that period. *Note: In accordance with the requirements of applicable Zimbabwe legislation,the dividend has been converted at the official exchange rate. In recognitionof the inflationary environment currently prevailing in Zimbabwe, an additionalamount will be paid to reflect the anticipated reduction in value in thedividend between 19 April 2007 and the payment date, 31 May 2007. This iscurrently expected to amount to around an additional 40.64 Zimbabwean dollarsper share. The exact amount of that additional amount will be announced to theZimbabwe Stock Exchange on 3 May 2007.
