Notice of Dividend Currency Exchange Rate - 2020 Final Dividend

On 20 April 2021, Avast plc announced its intention to pay a final dividend of 11.2 US cents per ordinary share in respect of the year ended 31 December 2020 (the "2020 Final Dividend"). The 2020 Final Dividend was declared by shareholders at the Company's AGM on 6 May 2021.

 

Eligible shareholders will receive their 2020 Final Dividend in US Dollars ("USD") unless a shareholder has elected to receive payment in pounds sterling ("GBP").

 

This announcement confirms that the currency exchange rate applicable for the 2020 Final Dividend for shareholders who elected to receive the dividend in GBP by the applicable deadline is:

 

Declared dividend

Exchange rate

Dividend to be paid for shareholders receiving dividends in GBP

 

11.2 US cents per share

1.41638

7.9 pence per share

 

 

The 2020 Final Dividend will be paid on 18 June 2021 to shareholders who were on the register at the close of business on 14 May 2021.
