Dividend Declaration

Kier Group plc announces that the final dividend in respect of the year ended 30 June 2010 of 39.5 pence per share declared in its results announcement yesterday will, subject to shareholder approval at its Annual General Meeting on 12 November 2010, be paid on 26 November 2010 to ordinary shareholders on the register at 24 September 2010. The ex-dividend date will be 22 September 2010 and a scrip dividend alternative will be offered.
