Kier Group plc announces that the final dividend in respect of the year ended 30 June 2011 of 44.0 pence per share declared in its results announcement yesterday will, subject to shareholder approval at its Annual General Meeting on 16 November 2011, be paid on 30 November 2011 to ordinary shareholders on the register of members at close of business on 23 September 2011.
The ex-dividend date will be 21 September 2011 and a scrip dividend alternative will be offered.
CREST participants will only be able to elect for the scrip dividend alternative via the CREST mechanism.
