RSA announces Director Declaration

RSA Insurance Group plc ("the Company") announces that Alastair Barbour, a non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed as a non-executive director of The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, a company listed on the Bermuda and Cayman Islands stock exchanges, with effect from 21 May 2012.
This notification satisfies the Company's obligations under paragraph 9.6.14(2) of the Listing Rules.
