Dividend Declaration

SMITH & NEPHEW PLC

STERLING AMOUNT OF DIVIDEND

As announced on 5 February 2015, a final dividend of 18.6 US cents per Ordinary Share in respect of the year ended 31 December 2014 will be paid on 6 May 2015 to shareholders whose names appeared on the Register at the close of business on 17 April 2015. Those shareholders whose address on the Register is in the UK, and those who have validly elected to receive sterling dividends, will receive a dividend of 12.34 pence per share.
