Maintains Dividend Rate PEORIA, IL - Highlighting the company's global reach and industry diversity, theBoard of Directors of Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) today declared a quarterlycash dividend of thirty-six cents ($0.36) per share on its common stock, payableNovember 20, 2007, to stockholders of record at the close of business October22, 2007. "As a result, we continue to reward our stockholders through quarterlydividends.
