Personal Group Holdings plc ("the Company") DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT & TRADING STATEMENT
DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT
The directors of the Company are pleased to announce that a fourth quarterly dividend of 3.3p per share will be paid on 19 December 2008 to members on the register on
5 December 2008.
Shares will be marked ex-dividend on 3 December 2008.
TRADING STATEMENT
The directors are pleased to report that the Group continues to trade well and that current trading remains in line with the directors' and market expectations.
As required under IFRS, the directors have undertaken a preliminary impairment review of the carrying amount of goodwill in the Group's consolidated balance sheet. Given the change in economic circumstances since the publication of the Company's interim results, there is likely to be a goodwill write down at the year end in relation to Berkeley Morgan Group Limited. Further details will be set out in the Company's preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2008.
