Old Mutual PLC14 September 2006 OLD MUTUAL PLCISIN: GB0007389926JSE Share code: OMLNSX share code: OLMIssuer code: OLOML Interim Dividend 2006 (No. 14) The Directors of Old Mutual plc ("the Company") have declared an interimdividend of 2.1 pence per share for the six months ended 30 June 2006 to bepaid on Thursday, 30 November 2006. The record date for this dividend is the close of business on Friday, 20October 2006 for all the Exchanges where the Company's shares are listed. Thelast day to trade cum-dividend on the JSE and on the Malawi, Namibian andZimbabwe Stock Exchanges will be Friday, 13 October 2006, while the last day totrade cum-dividend on the London and Stockholm Stock Exchanges will be Tuesday,17 October 2006. The shares will trade ex-dividend from the opening of businesson Monday, 16 October 2006 on the JSE and on the Malawi, Namibian and ZimbabweStock Exchanges and from the opening of business on Wednesday, 18 October 2006on the London and Stockholm Stock Exchanges. Shareholders on the South African, Malawi and Zimbabwe branch registers and theNamibian section of the principal register will be paid the local currencyequivalents of the dividend under dividend access trust arrangementsestablished in each country. Shareholders who hold their shares through VPC AB,the Swedish nominee, will be paid the equivalent of the dividend in SwedishKronor (SEK). Local currency equivalents of the dividend for all fiveterritories will be determined by the Company using exchange rates prevailingat close of business on Thursday, 5 October 2006 and will be announced by theCompany on Friday, 6 October 2006.
