Disposal of Shares by a Connected Party

Hampson Industries PLC ("the Company") has been formally notified that pursuant to a Financial Dispute Resolution hearing as part of civil divorce proceedings, 50,312 ordinary shares registered in the name of Mrs. V. Ward, a party connected to K.S. Ward, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, were disposed by that connected party on 3 June 2009 at 0.95 pence.
