Premier Foods plc17 October 2005 Disposal of Jonker Fris Premier Foods plc ("Premier") announces that it has reached an agreement inprincipal to sell Jonker Fris B.V. and Premier Foods B.V. (together "Jonker Fris") to NPM Capital B.V., a Dutch private equity firm. Completion is expected totake place before the end of the year and is subject to clearance fromregulatory authorities. Jonker Fris, based in The Netherlands, manufactures and sells canned vegetablesand fruit principally for private label customers in The Netherlands andGermany. The book value of the gross assets of the companies being sold was£17.3 million at 2 July 2005.
