DISPOSAL OF CHARTER SYSTEMS

Equiniti Group plc ("EQ" or "the Group"), an international technology-led services and payments specialist, announces that it has exchanged contracts to sell Charter Systems, a provider of software for covert intelligence, to Northgate Public Services (NPS). Following certain procedural matters, the transaction is expected to complete on 31st December 2020.

Charter Systems is part of EQ's Digital division and provides mission critical software to manage Covert Operations which is used by more than 60% of UK police forces as well as major customers in Canada.

The sale to NPS, a market leading provider of public sector and law enforcement technology solutions in the UK, reflects the Board's ongoing focus on core businesses and the reduction of leverage. The consideration for the transaction is £1.95m and, in 2020, Charter Systems is expected to generate revenue of approximately £1.4m.
