Carillion PLC04 May 2006 4 May 2006 Carillion completes sale of former Mowlem business, MESG Further to its announcement on 28 April 2006, Carillion, the UK support servicesand construction company, has completed the sale of Mowlem EnvironmentalSciences Group (MESG) to Inspicio plc for a cash consideration of £16 million. MESG was the specialist environmental business of Mowlem plc, which was acquiredby Carillion plc on 23 February 2006. MESG was not a core business for Carillionand did not fit its strategy for growth.
